Grassis Remendis

Appearance

Like her sister, she is a short girl and has peach hair with yellow ribbons in her hair. She wears white and pink clothes. Unlike her sister Flam, her fringe is straight.

Personality

According to Ezzo Cadner, she is very much like her sister in personality, who does not mind speaking of things she does not want to do and has a sharp mouth. She and her sister are also mischievous, habitually teasing others.

She and her sister also hold grudges towards those who wrong the members of House Astrea, particularly when it comes to Heinkel Astrea, and they will show no qualms in delivering ruthless beatings towards their enemies.

History

Born to one of Carol and Grimm's children, servants of House Astrea, she and her sister Flam have been trained by the family they've served since birth.

Meili’s Witchbeast Observation Record

A short time after the successful Pleiades Watchtower Expedition, members of the Felt Camp, which included Flam and Grassis, were tasked with reaching the Pleiades Watchtower and investigating it. During their travels through the Augria Sand Dunes, the Divine Dragon attacked them to protect the tower, leaving Reinhard to defend the party. Fortunately, Meili Portroute, who was protecting the party from witchbeasts as they made their way toward the tower, presented Volcanica’s talon, and they were allowed passage into the tower. There, they came across the Books of the Dead, which Meili explained to them, much to the fascination of Ezzo. Understanding their importance, Felt suggested Reinhard find the book of his grandmother, and though he was hesitant to do so, when Felt persuaded him to find it at some point, he was grateful.

Shortly after, they noticed the same birds that Subaru and Eridna had witnessed before. With one captured for study, Ezzo quickly discovered its true nature, and the crimson scorpion being carried by Meili killed it in his hands. Realizing the birds were being used to spy, Ezzo and Reinhard set to killing them all. Deciding to return to the capital, they left Ezzo and Flam at the tower.

Abilities

Divine Protection (加護 Kago): Grassis and her sister both have the Divine Protection of Mindspeak (念話の加護 Nenhanashi no Kago), which allows them to speak to each other through their mind. The distance between them does not matter, but it can only be used once a day. According to Petra's observations, the once-a-day condition seems to be connected to the amount of time that she sleeps rather than a full 24-hour time period.

Flow Method (流法): Despite being young, Grassis is an expert in using the Flow Method, giving her access to increase strength and a greater recuperation speed. She is shown to be powerful enough to beat the three thugs, Gaston, Rachins, and Camberley, with ease. Grassis is also mentioned to be stronger than Felt, Rom, and the other Felt Camp members except Ezzo Cadner and Reinhard van Astrea.

Stealth: Like her sister, Grassis is good at stealth. During the conflict with Al, she managed to stay hidden throughout all of his loops, and she even managed to successfully sneak up on him once without his noticing until it was too late.
