Synopsis

The fourteenth volume of the Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu series. It is the 5th volume of Arc 4, The Everlasting Contract.

Summary

The settlement with Garfiel, who refused to release the Sanctuary, was a breakthrough for a fate that should have been at an impasse, and it was also a signal for the beginning of the next battle. In the Trial at the graveyard, Emilia comes face to face with her past, which she had sealed deep in her heart. As Subaru and the others wait, trusting that she is safe, Shima, one of the duplicates of Ryuzu, also begins to talk about her past and the origins of the Sanctuary.

Emilia and the Sanctuary - two pasts that coincidentally come back to life at the same time. It is a story that prompts Emilia to make a decision and leads to the regret of a girl that Natsuki Subaru must save.
