Ram and the Night Study Group (ラムと夜の勉強会) is a Melonbooks shop exclusive limited edition short story that came with Volume 2. It was later adapted in Shouhenshuu Volume 1.

Summary
Ram attempted to teach Subaru the alphabet of their world, but it was not going all too well. Subaru complained that it was too difficult to learn something new in a short time and challenged her to do the same. He made a bet with her, who would be able to learn faster during that night, either him learning glyphs or Ram learning Japanese writing, saying that in case he lost, she could be stricter as a teacher. If she lost, Ram would have to be kinder and less strict with him, a bet that she accepted with pride. At the end of the night, Subaru gave her an exam with questions that Ram could easily answer after studying Japanese, much to Subaru's shock and frustration as now she would be harsher in his lessons. After leaving Subaru's room, Ram had a funny feeling that she had already seen all those Japanese characters somewhere else but dismissed it quickly and went to bed shortly after.
