Synopsis

The thirteenth volume of the Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu series. It is the 4th volume of of Arc 4, The Everlasting Contract.

Summary

Natsuki Subaru was unexpectedly confronted with the second "ordeal" and learned of the scene beyond hell. Subaru, who has learned of his own sins and is betrayed by the true nature of the witch he sought to help, is surrounded by the six witches who bear the names of the deadly sins and the final witch who destroyed them. At the end of his rage and lamentations, Natsuki Subaru's heart wears out as he is unable to save the one he wants to save. However, as Subaru hits rock bottom, a friend offers him a last ray of hope. The hope becomes a hard fist, he is told that there is no need to give up, and that he will be able to do anything he wants.
