Librarian Beatrice's Log: Third Page

Librarian Beatrice's Log: Third Page (司書ベアトリスの業務日誌・三枚目) is a Melonbooks shop exclusive limited edition short story that came with Volume 8. It was later adapted in Shouhenshuu Volume 1.

Summary

The story takes place in Arc 3 from the perspective of Beatrice. While everyone else went to the Royal Capital for the Royal Selection, Beatrice was left alone with Ram in the mansion, thinking that she would finally get some peaceful days without everyone around. However, Beatrice slowly started to beg in her mind for them to return quickly once she realized that the only thing Ram knew how to cook was potatoes, which Ram was somehow proud of. Later on, Roswaal returned, visited the library, and had a cryptic talk with Beatrice regarding visiting the Sanctuary. Roswaal mentioned that she should know full well what this should mean and left. The story ends with Beatrice closing her eyes, putting a hand on her chest, and wondering by herself, "Mother... How much longer... will I have to...".
