Family
Puck
Puck and Beatrice have a very familial relationship, being that both of them having the same origin as creations of Echidna. Upon the current timeline, Beatrice would show Puck great intimacy and would always show fondness over him, going as far as cuddling and playing with him childishly. However, it is revealed that although Beatrice does have a strong relationship with Puck, most of these feelings stem from her 400 years of isolation prior to meeting Puck 10 years before the current timeline. She is also stated to be somewhat envious of Puck's position having finished his goal while she herself hasn't. Nevertheless, her feelings of being reunited with her kin and an old friend after four long centuries relieve Beatrice, and she very much adores Puck as he adores her.
Eridna
Beatrice would first become aware of Eridna’s existence through Subaru, who wanted extra eyes on her due to her connection and similarities to Echidna. Though she would technically classify as her sister as a fellow artificial spirit made by the witch, she became as wary of her as Subaru since her objective was unknown. That said, when the two engage in conversation, it seems that they are able to converse without issue.
Roswaal A. Mathers
Both of them are acquainted with each other for more than 400 years, as they were both under Echidna's mentorship and protection. Before Echidna's demise, Beatrice formed a pact with her and vowed to protect the Forbidden Library located in Roswaal's Mansion. After Echidna's demise, Beatrice shut herself into the library, spending all of her time in there. Despite that, Roswaal still kept on visiting her, even after the original Roswaal A. Mathers "died". Roswaal loves Beatrice and deeply cherishes her and the relationship they had. Although as expected she does not care about Roswaal, even saying: "I never want to be his sister". The reason for her staying in the palace is because of the contract between them.
Towards the end of Arc 4, she would discover that each Roswaal since the first was the same man, leading her to strike him with her shoe. That said, she appeared to be genuinely happy that he was still alive after all this time. Still, after forming a contract with Subaru, she keeps an eye on Roswaal’s behavior. Of particular note, in the beginning of Arc 6, she declared that she would not let Subaru become like him, implying that she is fully aware of Roswaal’s goals.
In Arc 8, though the two interact as they did long ago, they are capable of fighting side by side with each other, as seen when they worked together to discern the core of the zombies. When Sphinx appeared before her as well, she would attempt to calm Roswaal, telling him not to lose his temper.
Echidna
Echidna was the one who ordered Beatrice to protect the Forbidden Library, also waiting for the one who would come one day, instead, that was barely her goal, her goal was to see who she'll choose to be "That Person". She was also deeply involved with Beatrice's birth. Beatrice views her as a mother like figure.
Emilia Camp
Natsuki Subaru
In the beginning, Subaru stumbled upon her when he attempted to return to his room, where he found her to be interesting and began calling her Beako. His appearance surprised Beatrice, though she didn’t seem to care much about him, and she would even drain his mana from him to knock him out. That said, in one of the failed loops, she willingly made a contract with him to protect him from harm despite having only met him the one time, something that would last even past Rem's death. In the main timeline, because he came to meet her several times for her rather than knowledge, she started becoming more and more interested. She even ended up informing helping him regarding the curses that would plague his body.
Because of her interest, she would ultimately go along with Roswaal’s plan, leading Subaru to the Sanctuary in Arc 4. In one of the failed loops, she would attempt to save him by pulling him into the Forbidden Library, causing him to lash out since he didn’t know what would happen if he didn’t die. Of course, he would grow somewhat hostile when he saw her Tome of Wisdom. Later in another failed loop, he would successfully manage to pull her out of the Forbidden Library, though shortly after, he would be met with failure, and she would attempt to save him by teleporting him back to the Sanctuary.
He would end up learning of her history through Echidna, causing him to grow angry at how she was treated by her Mother. Of course, Beatrice continued to wait for “That Person,” and she even came to believe that Subaru may have been them. However, when he came to bring her out of the burning mansion, he claimed otherwise, causing her to throw him out. Not allowing this to stop him, he kept pursuing her to convince her to leave the Forbidden Library, causing her to try and toss him out again to save his life. When it finally came down to the last remaining door, he would say once again that he was not “That Person.” However, he claimed that he would make her much happier than some random person she didn’t even know, bringing her to tears. Saying that she would eventually outlive him, she feared this, but Subaru claimed to stick by her side and make her so happy that she would never forget him. Because of this, she finally left the mansion with him, formed a contract with him, she would finally call him by his name, and they would go to fight side by side against the Great Rabbit.
After this, they would become practically inseparable, with Beatrice often seen by his side, and she would sometimes even sneak into bed with him like a little sister. In Arc 5, she was seen to often go along with his antics, both playing around with him in Roswaal’s current mansion and going along with him and Liliana in Priestella. Of course, her faith in Subaru is extremely strong, going so far as to say that Subaru was the greatest possible partner she could have, even pushing the likes of Julius away.
Naturally, the two fight side by side, even using brand new spells the two came up with together. That said, when he would become heavily injured by Regulus, she would become extremely desperate to save his life, using her stock of magic to heal him and everyone else nearby. Being left in a comatose state for the majority of the battle, Subaru would be left worried about her. When she woke up later that evening, though she wanted to go to his side, she would settle for helping Otto, believing that Subaru is fighting a battle that doesn’t require her. This resolve is further cemented when she saw her enemy at the time, Lye Batenkaitos, mimicking the mannerisms of the sleeping Rem, claiming to Otto that they must not allow Subaru to see this, as he would be left broken in a way that could not be fixed.
In Arc 6, after their talks with Roswaal before heading to the Pleiades Watchtower, she told the man that she would not allow Subaru to become like Roswaal wanted. After being separated in the Agria Dunes, upon reuniting, she had apparently cried in worry. Later, in one of the failed loops, when Subaru was stricken by one of Shaula’s stinger spells, Beatrice would desperately cry for him not to die, holding him in her arms. He would unconsciously use his soul tainting Authority of Sloth to wipe away her tears, though shortly after, both would die. In the same arc, when Subaru lost his memories, she would be extremely worried for him. In fact, in one of the failed loops, she attempted to comfort him after he read Meili’s Book of the Dead. When he would regain his memories, she would be extremely relieved, and the two would proceed to fight together.
However, the two would be separated for months after Subaru was sent to Vollachia. Because of this, she would be worried about him for both the way Vollachia worked and for his constitution, aware that his faulty Gate would end up leaving him in danger. Likewise, Subaru worried for her since her main source of mana was also gone. The two would meet again towards the end of the arc, when Beatrice nearly gave her life to prevent a massive attack from firing. Though heavily relieved to be together again, she would find herself worried for both his tiny state and the sheer mass of mana welling up inside him, silently claiming it to be too much.
In Arc 8, while she found the infantilized Subaru to be cute, she stated she wanted Subaru to grow again so that he could hold her in his arms. Furthermore, though she was still skeptical about Spica, she would trust Subaru’s judgment with giving her a second chance, placing her faith in him.
Emilia
For better part of the early story until after Arc 4, Beatrice had avoided contact with Emilia as much as possible due to harboring a bit of jealousy toward Puck for finally being able to get his wish. After the Sanctuary incident and a year passing, they become quite close and strongly supportive of each other.
Anastasia Camp
Julius Juukulius
Julius first meets the spirit in Arc 5, where he would offer his respect to her. She made it clear that though he was certainly appealing to her, Subaru was the only partner for her, something that Julius had no problem with.
Joshua Juukulius
Although Beatrice has no real opinion on him, Joshua still showed respect to her in reverence for her being a Great Spirit, something which she was proud of.
Felt Camp
Reinhard van Astrea
While Beatrice doesn’t have a negative opinion of Reinhard, she prefers to stay far away from him, as his constitution is dangerous to a mana-formed being such as herself. In Arc 5, she even claimed that if he were to appear, she would be nothing more than an average girl around him and unable to help.
Priscilla Camp
Al
Currently, their only interaction has been in Arc 5, when Al was guarding the room which Sirius was held in. During the short conversation, Al seemed familiar with her, and he called her Beako, something that seemed to even catch him by surprise. Upon hearing this name, she glared at Al and claimed that only Subaru could call her that, causing him to apologize. Later in Arc 9, he called her the name yet again, continuing to be familiar with her. However, he still showed no hesitation in locking her away with Subaru with Ol Shamak, believing it to be necessary.
Lugunicans
Ryuzu Meyer
Originally, Beatrice often teased and bullied Ryuzu. However, the two later become best friends and always together. Beatrice cried when Ryuzu sacrificed herself to protect the Sanctuary. It hurt her emotionally and it changed her for a long time.
Vollachians
Tanza
The two first met towards the end of Arc 7 with the arrival of the Pleiades Battalion. When Beatrice was acting overly familiar with Subaru right before the big battle, Tanza stepped forward to cease their interaction and focus forward. Due to this, she and Beatrice would start a rivalry with each other over who was better by Subaru’s side, causing Subaru to have to step between them. Pieces of this rivalry would crop up several moments within this and the next arc, such as both of them attempting to give Subaru a towel to dry himself off with.
This said, the two work excellently together when in combat, as shown in Lupugana on their way to save Rem and during their escape from the Imperial Capital. During these moments, the two would recognize each other’s strengths.
Witch Cult
Sirius Romanée-Conti
Beatrice does not like the Sin Archbishop, finding her emotion-based Authority abhorrent. Likewise, Sirius did not like the spirit for clinging to Subaru, who she had mistaken for Petelgeuse.
Regulus Corneas
When faced with Greed alongside Subaru, she would also find the man insufferable and would even attempt to stop him with her partner. However, Regulus would escape after severely injuring Subaru, leaving Beatrice desperate.
Lye Batenkaitos
She would encounter the Sin Archbishop alongside Otto, and she would immediately recognize that he had clearly taken in a large number of souls. While she would consider him as an enemy because of his position, she wouldn’t find herself truly despising him until he started mimicking Rem’s mannerisms and using her name, believing that he must be defeated immediately and not allow him to meet Subaru.
Rui Arneb
After defeating Lye, Rui would appear while everyone was weakened and taunt them. Rui would them escape with her brother, leaving Beatrice frustrated.
Witches
Sphinx
Beatrice was initially unaware of the existence of Sphinx, despite the numerous Ryuzu clones. However, she met the undead Sphinx in Arc 8, leaving her somewhat surprised and disgusted by the appearance that she took. That said, her appearance did not cause Beatrice to falter, and instead, she would attempt to keep Roswaal from losing his cool. Shortly after, she would meet her in combat alongside Roswaal and Garfiel, and they would come out temporarily victorious. Because of her mastery of magic, she, alongside Roswaal, was deemed one of the more dangerous enemies of the Great Disaster and was marked. Later, she would engage in combat with several zombies of Sphinx with Subaru and others, and they would come out victorious yet again. After seeing her transformed into the Witch of Greed, she immediately recognized that she was Sphinx and did not flinch at her new appearance.
Others
Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti
The two seem to share some sort of history, as evidenced when she referred to the madman by the nickname “Geuse.” Though their past together is unknown, she seemed to have been sad upon hearing of his death. Though it should also be mentioned that she seemed to be aware of Petelgeuse being the bearer of a Witch Factor.
Spica
Upon seeing the girl in Vollachia, she would immediately recognize her as Rui Arneb, and she would become hostile. Hearing how she was different from the girl she knew, she would remain wary of her and her behavior. However, by the Decisive Battle for Lupugana, Beatrice would place her trust in Spica to help divert a disaster. On the verge of Beatrice disappearing, she would grow desperate and begin to cry, though the worst was diverted when Spica managed to get the spirit to her partner in time. Later, though she would remain vigilant around Spica, she would trust in Subaru’s judgment to provide the girl a second chance.
During the battle to reclaim Lupugana from the Great Disaster, the two seem to get along better, though when Spica attempts to call her as Subaru does, Beatrice pouts and says that only Subaru can refer to her with that name.
