Yae Tenzen/Relationships

Priscilla Camp

Priscilla Barielle

Yae was originally sent to Priscilla to assassinate her, becoming her maid and grand chamberlain in the process. Yae seemed to have a decent amount of respect for Priscilla as well, though she was undeterred in her mission.

Aldebaran

Although they were both originally members of the same camp and fought alongside Priscilla, the two came to blows when Al discovered her mission to slay Priscilla. Thanks to his Authority, he was able to overcome her, thoroughly instilling fear into her for the first time. Afterward, rather than killing her, he had her leave and reside elsewhere, showing no known interaction until the events of Arc 9.

As of Arc 9, Yae has shown to be willing to follow Al, devoting herself to helping him in his mission to "become himself" and settle the mission he has set for himself. She has even gone as far as to offer her body to him to help him relieve his mental exhaustion; though of course, Al has refused her offer many times. However, despite that, she has also made her intentions clear in that she would like to see him die when he completes his goal, which Al showed no hostility against.

Yae and Al showed to be able to talk rather amiably, and Yae often liked to tease him, with Al often rebuking her behavior. Yae also finds Al's resolve and steadfast desire not to kill in spite of turning the world against him to be beautiful.

Schult

Yae liked being around Schult and had a positive relationship with him. After disposing of a shinobi assassin who had spoken to him during the Masquerade Night held by Priscilla, Yae, who had disguised her identity with a cat mask, encouraged Schult and gave him a prolonged hug.

Heinkel Astrea

Though the two only met after Yae was forced to leave the camp, when the two decided to work together to help Al in his mission, she made it clear her dislike of the man, and the two are on somewhat hostile terms.

Felt Camp

Felt

Initially, due to her collusion with Al during his scheme, Yae felt threatened by Felt when she was shown to be able to influence the controlled Divine Dragon, and she was ready to behead her then and there, if not for Al's command not to do so. Despite this, when they took her hostage, Yae did not seem to think of her negatively, and she talked with her in her usual teasing manner, often calling her cute, much to the girl's frustration. That said, she was shocked to hear that she wanted to wake up Heinkel's wife, leaving her somewhat impressed with her. That said, she was still willing to use her thread to sever a part of her body if she did anything suspicious.

Crusch Camp

Wilhelm van Astrea

During the events of Arc 9, the two clashed with each other. During their battle, Yae would attempt to antagonize Wilhelm by bringing up the subject of his wife's second death in Priestella in order to rattle him emotionally, but Wilhelm remained unaffected by her provocation. As the fight wore on, Yae realized that he was similar to her former master, Olbert, and that she would likely die unless she fought with the intent to kill. When Wilhelm had masterfully evaded her intricate web of steel threads and effortlessly cut through the flames created by her ultimate technique, she was forced to admit that Heinkel's assessment of his father was apt in that he was a monster, and wasn't certain if she should consider him more frightening than Al.

Lugunicans

Leip Barielle

Yae was hired to work in the Barielle Manor by Leip, presumably a short time before his demise. Despite not having directly met him before then, Yae found him disgusting and contemptible for forcing a marriage on a young woman like Priscilla while intending to use her as a puppet. However, she sympathized with his attitude towards being prepared for any potential disaster.

Nine Divine Generals

Olbart Dunkelkenn

Olbart was Yae's teacher, and he claimed her to be a prodigy amongst all of the shinobi. Though it is unknown what Yae thinks of him, Olbart seemed to be somewhat fond of her, and was even the one who suggested using her when it came to the matters regarding Priscilla. He was rather put out after she vanished, though he didn't appear to be sad about it either, as he was aware of the fate that befalls shinobi.

Chisha Gold

Chisha seemed to respect her skills, as he was the one who assigned her the task over watching over and even killing Priscilla in order to advance his goals.
