Family

Rui Arneb

Lye showed some degree of care for Rui as she was his younger sister. He repeatedly went out of his way to arrange meals for her, allowing her to experience the lives of others just like himself and Roy. In both arcs 5 and 6, he was also shown to be somewhat protective of her; at some point even saving her life by overtaking "her" body and dodging Ram's attack which would have been fatal. It is unknown if he was aware of his sister's hatred towards him. 

Roy Alphard

Similarly to his relationship with Rui, Lye shared a relatively one-sided love for his brother. He cared for him although not on the same level as he cared for Rui, and could be repeatedly seen criticizing Roy's decisions and his view on his approach towards his meals. Although it's worth noting every Sin Archbishop harbors hatred towards his fellow "brothers in arms"; having said that, comparing his relationship with both Roy and Rui was far from hostile.

Regulus Corneas

Lye had a rather non-hostile relationship with Regulus. Both hated each other but they respected their views and rights, with Regulus perhaps being a bit too pushy, questioning his never ending hunger which resulted in Lye snapping back at him, stating he dislikes lectures. In the end, they never became hostile towards each other; Regulus even helped Lye take out Rem. 

Emilia Camp

Natsuki Subaru

Lye held Subaru in very high regards and thought very fondly of him due to various reasons. He was the only known exception to the Authority of Gluttony and had experienced death more than once; Lye saw this as a big opportunity to satisfy his own cravings as Subaru would bring a lot of unknown new flavors - Natsuki Subaru was the very finest dish Lye could have hoped for. On top of that, Lye's emotions were highly influenced by Rem's, which resulted in him thinking very fondly of Subaru. Subaru, on the other hands, held nothing but hatred towards Lye for consuming Rem's name and memories, thus erasing her existence from the world.

After Rui devoured Subaru’s name and memories in the Corridor of Memories, it seems that those memories would also transfer to Lye, as evidenced when in one failed loop, Lye would make a reference to video games. “It’s like when your sibling is bad at the game, so you take the controller from them.” This seems to have given Lye extra motivation to devour Subaru’s name while in the Pleiades Watchtower.

Emilia

The two would meet and encounter each other in the Pleiades Watchtower, where, with both Subaru’s and Rem’s memories, he would likely recognize her, and they would meet in combat. Lye would devour her name and begin mimicking her Ice Brand Arts. However, he would soon retreat after finding himself at a disadvantage. He would later give up her name.

Ram

At first, Lye knew of Ram through Rem’s memories. As such, he felt Rem’s genuine emotions for her. However, on the other hand, Ram wanted to kill him for stealing Rem’s name and memories. The two would clash in the Pleiades Watchtower, where he would form a twisted love for the girl and release all the names he devoured, and shortly thereafter, Ram would be the one to behead him.

Rem

Lye, alongside Regulus, would encounter Rem on the Lifaus Highway, where Rem was prepared to give her life to fight and end them, declaring that even if she were to die, that Subaru would be the hero who would defeat them. Lye would pay this no mind, however, and would proceed to devour Rem’s name and memories. Upon doing so, he would gain Rem’s thoughts and feelings over Subaru.

Beatrice

Thanks to having devoured Rem’s memories, Lye was able to immediately recognize the spirit. He displayed surprise at Beatrice having left the Forbidden Library. Meanwhile, Beatrice would recognize Lye having obtained numerous souls. When he began displaying mannerisms of Rem and using her name, she was immediately angered and stated that Subaru should not be allowed to see this.

Otto Suwen

Otto attempted negotiations with Lye when he displayed his want to meet Subaru. During the negotiations, Otto began to feel a small amount of pity, which Lye could sense and immediately close down negotiations. He would also let be known his disdain for merchants. However, he would become interested in devouring Otto’s name, and when he be began mimicking Rem’s mannerisms and using her name, Otto would be enraged and, like Beatrice, would believe that Subaru should not be allowed to meet the Sin Archbishop.

Felt Camp

Felt

Lye would meet Felt in Priestella, becoming interested in devouring her name. On the other hand, she was immediately hostile to him and prepared to meet him in combat, despite the disadvantage. Though he would be disappointed that Felt escaped, he would be overjoyed by her return and attempt to devour her name. However, this would prove to be a bad idea as the name Felt wasn’t her original name. This would lead to his subsequent defeat.

Gaston

Although Lye didn’t think much of Gaston, he was impressed by his use of the Flow Method to destroy his blades, and he decided that he wanted to devour his name. However, it was partly because of Gaston that Lye suffered defeat. His opinions of the man afterward are unknown.

Anastasia Camp

Joshua Juukulius

Towards the beginning of the Battle for Priestella, Lye found Joshua while he was delivering a letter. He then proceeded to devour the boy’s name and memories.

Others

Reid Astrea

Lye and Reid shared an extremely hostile relationship. Reid usually didn't care about him and showered him with insults like "filthy midget-chan" while Lye tried to come up with an explanation as to why Reid was able to descend from his floor, before rethinking his strategy and ultimately deciding on eating him, which always ended with Lye getting beaten into a pulp and Rui taking over his body. Interestingly enough, not even Lye was able to establish a "normal" conversation with Reid.
