Despite being the only man among his family, he loves all of his older and younger sisters dearly, and he adores his mother just as much. It is because he lived with them that he learned how to respect women the way he does.

Zikr greatly respect Vincent as his emperor. Likewise, Vincent trusts and respects Zikr, even claiming that his title as the Coward is a good one, complimenting his mental prowess. It is because of his mind over matter attitude that Vincent trusts Zikr enough to bring him to his side during the Imperial Civil War.

Medium O'Connell

Zikr respects Medium like he does other women. When she later becomes the Imperial Empress Consort, Zikr respects this and approves.

Cecilus Segmunt

Although he respects his strength, Zikr is also aware of Cecilus’s abnormal behavior, and he considers him considerably dangerous.

Yorna Mishigure

Zikr respects Yorna, though he has also claimed that she is one of the more problematic Divine Generals. That said, he believes in her strength and was not against bringing her to his side.

Imperial Army

Jamal Aurélie

After his capture, Zikr provided Jamal a chance to work alongside him during the Flying Dragon Cataclysm. Zikr respects his strength.

Common Soldiers

Zikr is well respected among the Imperial Army for mingling with the lower ranked soldiers and increasing morale by sharing with the drinks and other such quality times. Likewise, he does what he can to keep his soldiers from needlessly dying, which they respect him for. He was even willing to find a way to provide for his men entertainment when their morale was deeply low, as he showed during the Fall of Guaral when he brought some dancers to City Hall to allow his men to relax.

Vollachians

Mizelda Shudrak

Zikr respects Mizelda’s strength, and he was willing to fight alongside her. That said, he also managed to get on her nerves when he had her and the other Shudrakians temporarily retreat during the Battle for the Imperial Capital before the Crystal Palace’s cannon could be fired, having felt disrespected as they were as much warriors as anyone else.

Taritta Shudrak

Like her sister, Zikr respected her. That said, she also felt disrespected when he had the Shudrakians temporarily retreat during said battle.

Serena Dracroy

The two manage to get along rather swimmingly. In fact, Zikr is not bothered in the slightest by the scar adorned on her cheek. Both during and after the Great Disaster, the two could be seen conversing with each other.

Emilia Camp

Natsuki Subaru

Although he met Subaru while he was crossdressing as Natsumi Schwartz, Zikr still showed respect towards Subaru as he did before, even after learning that he was a man. Zikr respects his role throughout the entire conflict, and when he learned that Subaru vanished during the Destruction of Chaosflame, he was worried about him. Likewise, when the Emilia Camp came looking for him, when they asked about him, Zikr was willing to keep his mouth shut about him if they were enemies.

Otto Suwen

Although he was initially wary of the merchant, when Otto provided his camp’s support during the Flying Dragon Cataclysm, he respected and befriended Otto. The two respect each other as strategists.

Emilia

Zikr does not pay any attention towards her appearance, and he respects Emilia as one of Subaru’s friends. He was also rather impressed with her wide ranged Ice Age spell when she first arrived in Guaral.

Beatrice

Shortly before the battle in Lupugana, he spoke with Beatrice and showed her respect. In fact, he even hoped for her well wishes before he went off to battle, expecting to die. Though she was reluctant, Beatrice abided by his wish, and she sadly saw him off like so many others.

Ram

Although the two haven’t spoken, Ram was annoyed by his actions regarding the Shudrakians during the battle, and she claimed that such sentiments didn’t matter to them.

Petra Leyte

Despite her age, Zikr talks to Petra like anyone else, and he respects the kindness that she shows to others, though he is left curious about her relationship with Roswaal.

Roswaal L. Mathers

Though the two have only barely spoken, Zikr respects the mage. Likewise, he was left curious by his relationship with Petra.

Priscilla Camp

Priscilla Barielle

Even after learning that she was Vincent’s sister, he showed Priscilla great respect, and he valued her opinion and strength during the war. After her demise, he understood the impact of her death on the emperor and those around her.

Spica

Despite learning that she was a former Sin Archbishop, Zikr was among the people who defended her when the Emilia Camp showed her great hostility. Later, when he spoke with Beatrice, he still looked at and spoke with her with kindness.
