Emilia Camp
Natsuki Subaru
At first, Petra did not trust Subaru, thinking of him as a strange person. The next day, however, she seemed to trust him better since his demeanor seemed different from the previous day. After having had her life saved by him in Arc 2, Petra would feel grateful to him and apologetic that she was put in such a predicament. However, she would feel tremendously guilty for her actions when she saw Subaru injured and bedridden, leading her to run away, crying and confessing what she’d done to her parents. After getting encouragement from her parents, she would attempt to apologize to him when he visited the village, though she would run away when she couldn’t speak up. Subaru ended up finding her, however, and reassured her that he was fine. When she apologized, he accepted it, continuing to treat her with kindness, and she would end up having a crush on him, even daydreaming of herself and Subaru as the main characters of romantic stories.
In Arc 3, she would stay by Emilia’s side as Subaru requested, and she would even keep it secret that he asked her to (though the other kids would reveal it to her). That said, she would feel envious toward her, causing her to attach herself to Subaru’s arm on the way back to the Royal Capital.
Because of her crush, when women were offered to work for Roswaal as a maid, she would go around the village and ask everyone to turn down the offer so that she could, all so that she could stay closer to Subaru. Similarly, so that she could be useful to both Subaru and the camp as a whole, she would dedicate herself to learning how to be a maid, politics, and magic over the year that she had the job.
Ever since, she would often find herself worrying about him and exasperated with his act of throwing himself into dangerous situations. Since she couldn’t go with him Arc 5 due to a meeting she was forced to attend, she would make him promise to rest when he returned from Priestella, though he would end up breaking this promise and upsetting her even more when he revealed that he was going somewhere far more dangerous, leading to her headbutting him.
When he was sent to Vollachia, she was worried about him, and like the majority of the camp, she would go with them to said country in an attempt to bring him home. Naturally, when she was reunited with an unconscious Subaru in Arc 8, she was the one who held Subaru’s hand while he slept, wanting to be the first one to talk to him when he awoke. Naturally though, she would find herself with complicated feelings about his decision for Spica, leading to her smacking Subaru for Otto.
After the events of Arc 8, she became worried for his emotional state after Priscilla’s death, and she even threatened Roswaal not to hurt him, knowing that he and Subaru had some form of understanding that they couldn’t share with the others. Upon returning to Lugunica, having been anxious about Subaru returning to the Pleiades Watchtower, Petra decided to go with him to keep an eye on him, and when Al captured him, she was tearful about his betrayal towards Subaru. Shortly afterward, Petra stumbled upon a Book of the Dead with its name scraped off that belonged to Subaru, unknowingly left behind as a trap by Al, which she read in her desperation to learn so much as a hint to why Al betrayed Subaru. This causes her to learn about Return by Death, his connection to the Witches, and that he used the handkerchief she gave to him to take his own life. After she passes out from the ordeal, she could only mutter a faint apology to Subaru.
After learning of Return by Death, she was terribly torn by the fact that he'd died so many times, both before the events of the book that she read and knowing that he'd likely died many times afterward as well. She also began to feel sorrowful knowing that he was taken away from his homeland, surrounded by strangers and losing his life to save them. Likewise, she felt that he was being taken advantage of for this and his kindness, and she was furious about it. However, after learning the truth, she showed perfect willingness to become a Witch or even give up something precious to her to compensate an Authority in order to help him.
Emilia
Petra recognized Emilia as the girl who would visit the village with Subaru and ended up fostering a good relationship with her. However, she also recognizes her as the girl that Subaru loves, so she finds herself jealous of her, attaching herself to Subaru and sticking her tongue out to Emilia on the way to the Royal Capital following Sloth’s defeat. After this, however, Petra and Emilia managed to along very well, and Petra has come to respect her kindness similarly to Subaru, deciding to act in a manner similar to Otto to protect her naivete. Despite this, after having read Subaru's Book of the Dead, having seen the Witch of Envy, who shared the same face with Emilia, she became apprehensive about seeing her again, fearing that she would be unable to see her in the same way as before. That said, after seeing her again, influenced by Subaru's feelings, she started feeling his intense emotions, which began influencing how she spoke to and looked at Emilia.
Frederica Baumann
Petra sees Frederica as her big sister. Frederica being her senior teaches Petra the basics of being a maid. Petra tries on outfits for Frederica and sleeps sometimes by her side. Knowing of Petra´s love for Subaru, Frederica supports her as she wants Petra to find happiness.
Roswaal L. Mathers
Petra works at Roswaal's mansion as a maid. After the events of Arc 4, her relationship with Roswaal started to worsen. Her cheeks would stiffen, tears would force their way out, she'd deliberately spill tea on his lap, not taking out the pins of his clothes and she wouldn't tell him when his buttons weren't done up. Roswaal, on the other hand, doesn't dislike Petra, even standing up for her when she was accused of being the reason the mansion burnt down and teaching her in politics and other such studies.
The tension between the two has stayed, even in the face of Roswaal's oath. After the events of Arc 8, she asked him what his intentions were with Subaru, having noticed that the two of them have some sort of understanding that the others don’t know about, and she threatened him not to hurt Subaru.
Ram
Petra respects Ram, being aware that she is actually the one in the mansion who can accomplish the most. She does disapprove of her slacking off though.
Rem
When the two first met, she quickly learned of Rem’s love for Subaru, and she deemed the Oni girl as a rival for his affection. However, she would end up forgetting her existence thanks to Gluttony. When she awoke later, Petra had not interacted with her, but after Petra regained her memories of Rem, Petra, who had been influenced thanks to Subaru's Book of the Dead, had started crying tears of joy and hugging her, much to her bewilderment. Later, Petra stopped her from breaking her fingers in repentance for how she treated Subaru in the Empire and spoke with her seriously, causing Rem to see Subaru reflected in her, leaving her in pause. Likewise, when she started to suspect Subaru's ability to go back in time and change things, Petra stopped her from saying anything, leading Rem to realize that Petra knows as well, and as such, Petra confided her trust in Rem for Subaru's sake.
Beatrice
Petra sees Beatrice as her best friend and will do various things to take care of her.
Otto Suwen
Petra and Otto share a friendly relationship, and the two are often the ones most worried about the camp. Petra often teases Otto, but this is often in jest. In arc 7, Petra became frustrated with Otto for taking on more than he could handle when he was attempting to use his Divine Protection in the war efforts, so she stuck by his side and assisted him with her Yang Magic, telling him to rely on his friends, leaving Otto speechless and accepting her help. Later in Arc 8, she would punch Subaru in place of Otto when he was clearly frustrated with his concerns regarding Spica.
Meili Portroute
Initially, Petra thought of her as nothing more than a shy village girl. However, after the events of Arcs 2 and 4, Petra held a grudge against her for nearly killing her and the people of the village and manor. Despite this, when Meili was imprisoned beneath the new manor, she and Subaru would talk to her regularly, and she would help Subaru make stuffed animals for her.
As time progressed, the two of them would gradually become friendlier, and after the events of Arc 6, she seems to regard the former assassin as her friend once again. By Arc 9, Meili was shown to worry for Petra, both comforting her at times and showing her concern. She also was against Petra's interest in taking in a Witch Factor, saying that it wasn't something to rely on, which Petra recognized was her showing concern. Likewise, Petra also prevented her from giving up her Divine Protection, not wanting her to lose it.
Clind
Despite his being responsible for teaching her how to be a servant, she does not seem to care very much for Clind, due in part to Frederica's strange behavior around him, his close relationship with Roswaal, and most of all, he came across as someone who had given up, something which goes against her principles. During the events of Arc 9, she even scolded him for acting like an outsider with everyone around him, which caused him to reflect on his actions and become somewhat more assertive with his thoughts, and because of that, he was thankful toward her.
Priscilla Camp
Al
Initially, she didn’t mind Al and thought of him as somewhat of a cheerful guy, despite his loss. However, when he began his objective of trying to rid the world of Subaru and used their injured allies as a means of escape, she cried, called him a coward, and said that she hated him.
Witches
Echidna
Petra became aware of the Witch of Greed through Subaru's Book of the Dead. Because of what she saw, Petra does not trust her, and she does not think very fondly of her, especially after witnessing what she did to her handkerchief that allowed Subaru to kill himself.
Others
Musica
During their travels to Vollachia, the Emilia Camp would find themselves in conflict with the mole people. Representing the camp, Petra placed an oath bound curse mark on herself, swearing an oath with Musica to let the mole people meet Emilia.
