Biehn Argyle

Biehn was Ferris's father who did not treat him well as his child and even abused him due to the misunderstanding of Ferris’s demi-human blood. After Crusch saved Ferris from his father, he did his best to avoid Biehn. During the Raid of Argyle Manor, he met him again, and he was disgusted by Biehn's attempts to treat him like a son after what he did, though he also noticed how his father seemed to have gone mad. He was also disgusted at the fact that he killed his mother, and after using the Sacrament of the Immortal King to temporarily revive his mother, he stood by as she killed him.

Hannah Argyle

Ferris hated his mother for allowing him to go through so much torment, and he even tried to attack her when he was finally set free, though Crusch stopped him. Later on, he felt sorry for her after seeing learning of the way she died. After reviving as a corpse soldier and letting her kill Biehn, she smiled at him before she turned to dust.

Hannah Regret

It is heavily implied that Hannah may have been Ferris's true mother. Although he did not know her, he did not like her for sticking by Biehn's side. However, he was confused at why she did not stop Biehn's death despite choosing to stay with Biehn, and he was willing to talk to Crusch about leniency regarding her punishment by assisting the Argyles. However, when she locked herself in the room to die with Biehn and Hannah, Ferris was traumatized and scarred by her actions, and he grew to bear a deep resentment for people willing to give up their lives so easily, including her.

Crusch Karsten

Crusch and Ferris have been best friends since childhood. Ferris shared several important moments with her like becoming loyal to her and defending her from any dangerous situation. Their relationship is very good considering that they have not been seen in conflict since they are very close, and he shows jealousy when Crusch had dinner with Subaru for the act that they were having dinner in the same way that Crusch did with him. Crusch has said things such as "You are truly the one who knows my heart best" to Ferris, further showing their close and strong relationship. Ferris has immense loyalty towards her, and he is willing to give up his life for her if necessary.

When Crusch lost her memories to Lye Batenkaitos, Ferris became emotionally distraught. Fortunately, she would wake up and he’d get along with her fine, but due to his protectiveness of her, he suggested breaking apart the alliance with the Emilia Camp, though the girl and Wilhelm would both be against this.

A year later, Ferris would show their strong bond, often teasing Crusch. However, when Crusch would find herself cursed by Lust, Ferris would become extremely distressed, his emotions amplified further by Sirius causing him to lash out at everyone, including Wilhelm and Subaru. When Subaru would come to see her after speaking over Priestella’s Communication Meteor, Ferris, still distressed, would threaten Subaru to not try anything funny. Furthermore, when Subaru displayed that he could take Crusch’s curse into himself, Ferris would find himself shocked and frustrated that he couldn’t do anything for her like Subaru could. That said, when Crusch pleaded with Subaru not to do so, Ferris would be conflicted by her decision.

Towards the end of Arc 5, Ferris would show willingness to torture the captured Sirius to get information out of her, though he was talked down by the others.

Meckart Karsten

Ferris respects Meckart and is grateful for taking him in. That said, he enjoys teasing Meckart when it comes to his daughter.

Emilia Camp

Natsuki Subaru

Ferris had at first disliked Subaru for his outburst in the Royal Capital, his prior meeting with him, and his own hatred for weakness. However, when Subaru came to Crusch to negotiate an alliance, Ferris was left impressed at the difference from just a few short days ago. This respect grew further when Subaru not only led the charge against the White Whale, but also was the one responsible for coming up with a way to bring it down for good. The two went on to fight together against Sloth and his fingers, where they would successfully take him down. Similarly, in one failed loop against Sloth, Ferris was left in tears when he was forced to use his skills to kill Subaru, even if it was to bring down the crazed Sin Archbishop.

Upon returning to the destruction caused by Greed and Gluttony, Ferris was left emotional, leading him to suggest breaking the alliance made prior to the fight. Though this was turned down in the end, this nearly drove a wedge in Subaru’s and Ferris’s friendship.

A year later, the two remained friends. Shortly after arriving in Priestella, following Subaru’s encounter with Greed and Wrath, Ferris was left having to care for Subaru while he was unconscious, who had nearly lost his leg if not for Beatrice. Before he set out to recover City Hall, Ferris would be against him going anywhere since he was injured. However, forced to back down by his determination, Ferris would numb the pain in his leg for him, warning him not to overdo it.

When Crusch came down with the Dragon’s Blood Curse, Ferris would be left openly hostile, even lashing out at Subaru. Though, this would not harm their relationship. When he displayed the ability to transfer the curse onto himself, Ferris was left frustrated. When Crusch pleaded with him not to take it from her yet, Ferris was conflicted, knowing that Subaru could save her while simultaneously knowing that it could be harmful to Subaru. After she passed out, Ferris leaned on Subaru, asking what he should do. Despite them both wanting Ferris to stay by the girl’s side, he reminded Ferris of the duties he would be needed for.

Anastasia Camp

Julius Juukulius

Julius would be tasked with watching over Ferris when he joined to Royal Knights, wishing to deter any would-be allegations. Initially, Ferris was wary of him due since he was used to the glares of other people and the misunderstanding during their first conversation. However, after this, the two became friends who would sometimes drink together. Later on, when Subaru first appeared and Julius defeated him in a duel, resulting in his house arrest and essentially saving Subaru's life, Ferris believed that he was too nice for his own good, even towards people that Ferris himself did not believe were worth it. This being said, he respects him for it.

Felt Camp

Reinhard van Astrea

Like Julius, he would be tasked watching over Ferris when he joined the Royal Knights. Ferris, of course, immediately recognized the Sword Saint. Having heard rumors of his personality, he believed that Reinhard was not the type to act out of discrimination, which proved to be right. After this, the two became friends who would sometimes drink together.

Fourier Lugunica

Growing up alongside Crusch, Ferris would meet the young prince, and thanks to him, Felix would don the name Ferris. From the day they met onward, the two would be friends. Ferris would often tease Fourier, sometimes even using Crusch to do so since he was aware of Fourier’s crush on her, and he would often be left amused by his reactions. However, Fourier was akin to hope for Ferris, just like Crusch was, and he would find his endless optimism inspiring.

For a long time, Fourier would not learn of Ferris’s true gender, only finding out when Ferris was helping him turn down a wedding invitation to the daughter of a Gustekan Archbishop. The gender reveal would leave Fourier shocked, and Ferris would be left depressed by the prince keeping his distance. Though this would not last for long as Fourier would end up running to the both of them when rumors ended up spreading around about his sexuality, leaving Ferris relieved.

When Fourier would collapse one day, having fallen ill to the same plague attacking the rest of the Royal Family, Ferris would be left distressed that he couldn’t cure him, despite being recognized as the best healer in the kingdom. He was even willing to perfect Sacrament of the Immortal King to bring him back if he died, though it would be Fourier himself who would discourage Ferris from doing so.

Following his death, Ferris would be left as heartbroken as Crusch. After learning his dream from Crusch, she would take Ferris on officially as her knight, and the two would aim to win the Royal Selection to bring his dream to life.

Marcos Gildark

Because Marcos was both blunt and honest when they first met regarding his position in the Royal Guard rather than him speaking to Ferris with discrimination, Ferris respected him for it. Marcos was also the one who recommended to Reinhard and Julius to spend time with him, knowing what tribulations Ferris may have in the discriminatory army.

Though the two have never met, Ferris bears a deep anger towards the Sin Archbishop of Gluttony for stealing Crusch’s memories.

Capella Emerada Lugunica

For a number of reasons, Ferris loathes Lust. For one, thanks to her, Crusch was bedridden with a curse that Ferris had no clue how to fix, as his healing wouldn’t work on it. Secondly, Lust was also responsible for the numerous transformed people of Priestella, having turned them into man-sized flies, demi-beasts, large blobs of flesh, and turning one man into a dragon. Since their bodies technically weren’t “wounded,” Ferris could not heal them.

Ferris would meet Capella during the climax of Arc 5, and though he would demand she return Crusch and the others’ bodies to normal, Capella would barely paid concern to Ferris’s demands, and she would even toy with him by transforming into Crusch and taunting him to stab her. As of right now, Capella is one of Ferris’s worst enemies.

Sirius Romanée-Conti

Though the two have yet to meet, Ferris has displayed willingness to torture Wrath in order to get information out of her, though he would be calmed before he could do anything so rash.
