Imperial Family
Vincent Vollachia
Vincent recruited Olbart as the final member of his Nine Divine Generals. While enjoying his position, Olbart held a dark desire in his heart: to kill the emperor and obtain posthumous fame, something most shinobi would never obtain. Olbart successfully managed to conceal this dark desire from Vincent until Chaosflame, where it was exposed and used against him. That said, this did not deter the Vicious Old Man, and continued to hold this desire. Unfortunately, with the Great Disaster and Vincent returning to his position of power, he would be forced to push back any plans of killing Vincent, as doing so at such a time or during the country’s recovery would be undesirable. After witnessing the feat of the Magic Crystal Cannon’s shot being erased for the second time, he has given up on his ambition of killing the emperor completely.
Nine Divine Generals
Cecilus Segmunt
Olbart very clearly understands Cecilus’s strength and unbending, bizarre demeanor. That said, seeing him infantilized during the Battle for the Imperial Capital left him bewildered.
Chisha Gold
While the relationship between the two before the events of Arc 7 is unknown, Olbart was completely fooled by Chisha when he disguised as Vincent, and later, he would become annoyed with Chisha having copied the old shinobi’s techniques.
Yorna Mishigure
Olbart and Yorna do not have a friendly relationship. Initially, when Olbart appeared before her with the false emperor, neither of the two interacted with each other, and Yorna even allowed Olbart to temporarily act against the ones seeking to rebel. Later, however, with Yorna deciding that neither party will interfere with the other while in her city, Olbart showed full willingness to ignore her wishes. Naturally, upon hearing of Olbart’s transgressions against Subaru’s group, she became annoyed with him, and the two even came to blows above Chaosflame when Olbart wouldn’t listen to the request of a child. After being forced to end their fight, Yorna remained bitter towards him, and Olbart seemed not to care.
Kafma Irulux
Initially, it seemed as though Olbart had no problems with Kafma, as the two were seen conversing in Chaosflame. However, after Kafma failed to defend one of the bastions of the imperial capital from his opponent, Olbart openly mocked Kafma and even seemed willing to attack him, claiming he was merely a Second Class General.
Vollachians
Tanza
After Subaru’s group was allowed to return to the lodgings, Tanza came to Olbart for assistance in attempting to drive away their group. Due to his curiosity, he decided to help her, and he even let her stay in the lodgings that the “emperor” was using.

Al
Olbart first met Al in Ginunhive long before the start of the main story. At the time, Al had stopped an uprising on the island, and because of his performance, Olbart offered to bring the man to the Crystal Palace so that he might be rewarded. However, Al declined and remained on Ginunhive. Later in Arc 7, the two met again, and Al used their past acquaintanceship and potential reward to get what he wanted. When the two entered combat, Olbart was impressed with Al’s ability, even though it confused him, and the old man infantilized Al. Because of this and the false Great Disaster, Al was very hostile to the old man. Though he regained his body, the two are not on good terms.
It should be noted that when Olbart met Al on Ginunhive, Al was not wearing his signature helmet. As such, Olbart is one of the few in the present day who knows what Al looks like.

Natsuki Subaru
Initially meeting him while he was under the guise of Natsumi Schwartz, Olbart seemed rather entertained by Subaru’s bold declaration of war against the “emperor.” During their escape, Olbart infantilized Subaru, something that caused most of the boy’s issues throughout Arcs 7 and 8. Meeting him in his child form in their lodgings, Olbart was slightly surprised to see it, but promptly ignored it. Soon after, when Subaru accurately pointed out his hostility towards the emperor, Olbart warned him, appearing rather annoyed that he’d guessed correctly. Because of this, Olbart suggested Subaru and the others play tag or hide and seek with him as a means to test them.
Later, Subaru managed to successfully find him twice, impressing Olbart. However, when Subaru suggested ending their games, this angered the Vicious Old Man, leading to Subaru’s “ten seconds of despair,” unknowing to Olbart. While he is unaware of the cause of Subaru’s grudge, he was impressed that Subaru managed to turn the rules against him and win. When Olbart attempted to return the boy to his body, however, Subaru was overtaken by shadows, resulting in Olbart losing his right arm. Despite it being overcome, it is unknown what he thinks about Subaru’s connection to the false Great Disaster.
The two would meet again on their way to reclaim the zombie infested imperial capital. Following Subaru’s orders to investigate the Crystal Palace, Olbart was impressed with his foresight, though he also considered it an incredible threat should relations between Vollachia and Lugunica return to how they were.
Garfiel Tinzel
At first, Olbart thought of Garfiel as nothing but a boy, even though he managed to defeat Kafma, a general with strength enough to warrant him a potential promotion to Divine General. During their battle, Olbart merely toyed with Garfiel, throwing him off and preventing him from proceeding any further. However, once Garfiel gained guidance from a fellow member of his camp, Olbart officially considered Garfiel a real threat.
Roswaal L. Mathers
When Roswaal arrived while using the name “Dudley,” he proved to be an annoying obstacle to the Vicious Old Man, managing to stop every deceptive blow he used and guiding the nearby Garfiel. As such, Olbart considered him a real threat. It should also be noted that while Roswaal claimed to know shinobi from over 40 years ago, despite his appearance being much younger, Olbart did not question his age, and he even knew of which shinobi Roswaal spoke of.
Kararagians
Halibel
Despite being fellow shinobi, Olbart does not like Halibel, and he recognizes him as the only shinobi who was better and stronger than himself.
Others
Shasuke & Raizo
Having been aware of every shinobi to have come from his village, he knew of these two before they became runaway shinobi. He was also aware of their apparent deaths. The relationship they had, if any, however, is unknown.
