Chisha Gold/Relationships

Imperial Army

Vincent Vollachia

Chisha was Vincent's confidant, military advisor, and overall most trusted ally.

Chesha was fourteen years old when he met Vincent, twelve years old at the time. Vincent's carriage had gotten stuck in a ditch. Impressed by Chesha's skill when he saw him get the wheel unstuck, Vincent decided to hire Chesha on the spot and take him to his residence. A few days later, when Chesha requested a new name, Vincent named him Chisha.

Since Chisha started working for Vincent, Vincent helped him further his studies and develop his skills intensively. Although Chisha found it overwhelming, this new routine proved more satisfactory and fulfilling than life at his hometown, from where he had been ousted.

Initially, Chisha felt afraid of Vincent due to his reputation as a brutal, merciless prince. However, the more time Chisha spent with him, the more he came to understand Vincent as a person and respect him. In public, Chisha appeared to assume a more obedient stance. However, when they were in private, Chisha could be quite impertinent. Nonetheless, Vincent barely reprimanded him over it; on the contrary, sometimes he seemed even amused by it.

After Vincent became the emperor, Chisha undertook the role of his body double, using the ability that he had earned after the injury sustained during the Imperial Selection Ceremony. Chisha knew Vincent well and was able to do a perfect imitation of both his physique and psyche. Similarly, he was also granted the rank of Fourth among the revived Nine Divine Generals system for his intelligence and tactical prowess.

Vincent was shocked when Chisha sacrificed his own life to save him from the Great Disaster. Chisha's death drove Vincent to a rare display of vulnerability, as he was not prepared to lose him.

Nine Divine Generals

Cecilus Segmunt

Chisha first met Cecilus at the age of eighteen, when he helped the younger boy get recruited by Vincent.

Cecilus was the first person to call Chisha a friend.

Arakiya

Chisha and Arakiya were originally enemies towards each other, and Arakiya was originally the one to give the man the injury that triggered the generation of his transformation powers. After Vincent won the selection and became the emperor, the two both shared the title of Divine General. Arakiya seems to respect his intelligence while he respects her sheer power. Chisha taught Arakiya how to write.

In Arc 7, she even went along with his scheme to keep Vincent from the throne, though she wasn’t told the entire truth.

Groovy Gumlet

When he was first scouted, Chisha was the one who passed along the emperor’s tasks to him. Naturally, Groovy initially didn’t seem to care much for Chisha, but he would come to respect his intelligence. Later, they would have rather friendly relations with each other, sometimes seen sharing friendly conversations. Shortly before the Imperial Coup, they would share one last conversation before Chisha would send him to the northwestern border for a special task.

Vollachians

Ubilk

Despite the help that Ubilk brought with being a Stargazer, Chisha did not like the man, and his prophecy foretelling the Great Disaster further amplified his frustration and rage towards him. Chisha even held his fan towards him in an attempt to get answers from him. Thanks to Ubilk’s words, Chisha would start the Imperial Coup and give his life to change Ubilk’s prophecy.

Priscilla Camp

Priscilla Barielle

While she was known as Prisca Benedict, as they were of opposing sides in the Imperial Selection Ceremony, they were originally enemies. However, while he was going along with Vincent’s wish to help Prisca escape the selection with her life, he assisted him in faking her death, and he is one of the few who knew that she had survived the ordeal. Regardless of their opposing positions, Chisha respected Prisca's shrewdness, going so far as to tell her that, were he not affiliated to Vincent already, he would not have been disliked being her subordinate.

Seeking to remove Priscilla from the equation before the Great Disaster in order to bring the power of Vincent's Yang Sword to its full potential, Chisha tasked the prodigy shinobi Yae Tenzen to observe, and later, to assassinate her, without notifying the emperor of his intentions. Upon Yae's defeat, he followed up with her failure by sending a suicide squad consisting of Hamayal Wesmi and nine other shinobi, to achieve the task she failed. Having suspected that it was infeasible to expect her to be killed so easily, he ceased trying to assassinate her, instead turning his efforts to procuring her strength to ward off the coming Great Disaster. Around when the time came for Chisha to force Vincent to escape from the Crystal Palace and take his place as "Vincent Vollachia, he sent assassins to her domain that he knew she would be able to tell were from Vollachia as a drastic measures in order to obtain her assistance, successfully managing to draw her in.
