Katya Aurélie

Katya is Todd's fiancé and is the only person who Todd has a deep emotional connection to. He is deeply in love with her and would do anything just to get back to her side. One of the key reasons that Todd chose to risk his life to save Arakiya was to have a reason to get back to Katya, and during the Battle for the Imperial Capital, once the tide go south on the side of imperial army, the first thing Todd did was to reunite with Katya and help her escape Lupugana. Todd thought of her as a fragile, helpless and imperfect girl, which is exactly the most attractive and ideal type of woman for him. However, despite Todd's deep love towards Katya, he would lie to her if it is to his benefit, as he did lie when he was telling the stories of Jamal.

After his supposed death, he managed to make his way back to her following the Great Disaster, and after serving her marriage papers, he eloped with Katya.

Jamal Aurélie

As comrades, Todd and Jamal share a relatively friendly relationship. After some of Jamal's colleagues were killed by Rem and he wanted to enact revenge, Todd tried to keep him in check, however, he displayed no concerns about Jamal's behaviour, let alone punish him, after Jamal successfully managed to beat up Subaru and Rui, in the following days. Later, it's revealed that Jamal outranks Todd, however, due to things such as Todd’s fiancée being Jamal’s sister, the two trust and care each other beyond limit, and are on equal terms with each other, despite their ranks. While Jamal acts as the brawns of the group, Todd is the brains behind the operation.

Despite their seemingly deep friendship, however, Todd often manipulates him to get his support, even goes as far as using him as a bait to lure out the enemy. He never had a deep connection to Jamal and thought of him as a tool to get to Katya and a helpful hand in achieving his purpose. Once Todd was about to get a stronger support from Arakiya, he didn't hesitate in abandoning Jamal and quickly forgot about him.

After marrying and eloping with Katya, he became Jamal’s brother-in-law.

Todd thought of Arakiya as nothing more than a tool to achieve his goal. He feigned his attachment to Jamal to gain her empathy so that he can reunite with Katya and stay with her. Although he did succeed in getting her support, his plan was unexpectedly thwarted by Berstetz Fondalfon.

Upon first meeting during one of the failed loops, Todd acted very friendly towards Subaru, as he falsely thought Subaru was a Vollachian noble, due to the branded dagger he wore–according to him, the dagger, which had the Imperial insignia embedded on its hilt, was something gifted directly from the emperor himself. He treated Subaru with respect and was even prepared to help him get to the nearest settlement. However, due to Subaru getting killed in that loop, their relationship reset and the duo started on a completely wrong foot–Todd did not like Subaru's attitude and considered him a Shudraquian spy, hence he locked him away and was even prepared to torture him for information. After Subaru tricked him and his squad by leading them to a witchbeast ambush, Todd displayed an insatiable bloodlust and absolute determination to kill Subaru.

During the events of Volume 27, Todd pushed Subaru into a multitude of brutal loops in the Fortress City of Guaral, during which he assassinated the boy an a variety of ways; beheading him, cutting his throat wide open, running him and everyone on the street over with a rogue dragon carriage, caving his skull in with a battle axe, as well as setting a whole pub ablaze and killing tens of innocent people, just to finally be able to cut Subaru down. However, when Subaru announced that he noticed him and was prepared for his attack, Todd quickly withdrew and gathered other Imperial Army to have better chances of hunting him down. This attempt failed eventually due to the unexpected speed of Subaru's escape and the help from the fellow People of Shudrak. Todd decided that it was too risky to chase on so he turned his attention to finding the hidden entrance in the city to prevent any surprise attack.

Much to his surprise, Subaru returned in the disguise of traveling entertainers and sieged the city. He remembered Subaru by his fake name "Natsumi Schwarz" and thought of him as the "poster child of war". He managed to rescue Arakiya before he escaped, but lost Jamal Aurélie in the process.

After the unexpected termination of the Battle for the Imperial Capital, Todd was required to form an alliance with Subaru to survive. Despite their close collaborations in defeating the zombies, Todd found himself trusting Subaru less and less. This was because Subaru put his own life to a very low value while selectively choosing who to save. Todd, on the other hand, wanted to have full control on his life and did not want to put his life under someone else's whim. This huge difference in value caused Todd to attack him preemptively after they successfully eliminated Izmail. Subaru caught his attack as if he knew it, further strengthening Todd's belief that he was planning to kill him at any time. He tried his best to kill Subaru, but he was thwarted by Emilia and Rem.
