Wilhelm van Astrea

When she first saw Wilhelm, she was curious about him, and she followed him to the flower field where they first met. Upon seeing him swinging his sword in his training, she decided to talk to him, asking him questions about why he swung his sword and if he liked flowers, though his answers were short and curt. After this, she would often come to see him in the very same flower field. When she eventually heard of the start of the Battle of the Trias Domain, worried for Wilhelm’s life, she rushed to his home and saved him from the attacking demi-humans. Unfortunately, Wilhelm became frustrated at seeing her skill and thought that she was mocking him. After losing to her, she decided to take up the title of Sword Saint, believing that her purpose in wielding the sword was to protect others, including the one she had fallen in love with. As she walked away, he made a statement to her, claiming that he would make it to where she should never have to raise her sword again.

After the end of the Demi-Human War, when she was to officially bear the title of the nation’s Sword Saint, Wilhelm, with the help of the former king, interrupted the ceremony and challenged Theresia to a duel. Upon his victory, he claimed to her that he would take up the sword for her sake, and shortly after, they kissed. Eventually, the two married and had a child, and eventually, a grandchild. However, their time was unfortunately cut short, as Theresia led the Great Conquest, ultimately leading to her death. Her last thoughts were of Wilhelm.

With her body animated as a corpse soldier for the Witch Cult, she was forced to fight Wilhelm in Priestella. When she was ultimately defeated by the members of her family, she shared her last words of love with Wilhelm, and she finally heard the words she always wanted to hear as she turned to dust.

Heinkel Astrea

Heinkel is Theresia’s son, and the two loved each other dearly. Naturally, he was heartbroken to hear of her death during the Great Conquest, leading to the shattering of their family’s relationship. Her second death hit him significantly harder, and it caused nigh irreparable damage to their family’s relationships.

Reinhard van Astrea

Theresia loved her grandson like she did her son and always treated him kindly. Upon losing her Divine Protection of the Sword Saint, she instinctively knew that Reinhard was the next one. Naturally, her death caused damage to her grandson’s early life, and when he was forced to cut her down when she was a corpse soldier, he had to view her as nothing more than a lifeless enemy, causing even greater damage.

Melinda

When she was kidnapped by Stride Vollachia, Melinda was the one to care for her since she was pregnant at the time. Melinda did not like when Theresia attempted to escape because she believed that she was putting her unborn child in danger.

Others

Pandora

During the Great Conquest, she encountered the Witch of Vainglory after losing her Divine Protection. Instantly realizing that her presence there was as that of an enemy, she took a nearby sword, unable to draw the Dragon Sword Reid, and attacked her. Unfortunately, Pandora did something that caused Theresia to lose her life, and her body was taken to be used by the Witch Cult.
