Natsuki Rigel/Relationships

Natsuki Subaru

Rigel is Subaru's son. Rigel has problems with Subaru's immaturity and active imagination. Both of which are used to mess with Rigel during Setsubun, a festival Subaru brought to Banan from Japan. Rigel has held little respect for his father ever since he was six. Despite that, he still loves his family, and makes sure to diligently help his father in each year's festivities. Rigel is easily exasperated by his father's behavior, but is nonetheless patient with him, begrudgingly.

Subaru arranges culture festivals that often involve his family, to Rigel's chagrin and expense. Subaru has arranged for Rigel to be dressed in an oni costume and run around town with beans thrown at him.

Natsuki Rem

Rigel is Rem's son. Rigel loves his mom dearly, and relies on her to an extent. That reliance wanes in matters involving his father, however, as Rem unconditionally supports Subaru, except when Subaru accidently implied that he wanted a divorce. Despite that, Rem is often the only one in Rigel's corner when he is being teased by Subaru, before she hits him harder with her remarks. Rem is also the one who, verbally, hits Rigel harder and more sternly, of his two parents. Rigel is willing to go out his way to do things that will make his mother happy, even if it would also benefit or please his dad. Granted, Rigel also takes the fall for any dissatisfaction Rem finds in Subaru, as she expects Rigel to keep Subaru responsible. Rigel takes secret pride in how his parents both display high class education, making him imply a high status past from both of his parents.

Rigel has shown curiosity to his parents past, due to random things he would hear about his birth and his parents prior to his birth. Some of these involve how he was often told in his early childhood about how his birth nearly destroyed the town. Rem crying over his (pretending to be) sleeping body, apologizing that she could only pass on one horn to him. Overhearing his normally jovial parents somberly remember their past before arriving in Kararagi, learning that he had an aunt, and that his parents seemed to have had a tough past. His parents being friends with Halibel "The Great", also known as "The Admirer", stirred more questions. Additionally, he was curious about his families history with the mysterious beauty "Tia" identity in Banan.

Natsuki Spica

Rigel adores his baby sister. He dislikes having to not sleep with her, and shamelessly notes that he wants to marry her, intimidating the town elder, Chamov. Rigel notes that prior to marriage, he doesn't want to raise her to be like their mother.

Halibel

Rigel adores his "uncle" Halibel. He secretly learns shinobi abilities from Halibel, like substitution and cloning. Rigel dislikes that he can't spend more time with his uncle as his uncle needs to perform work for the nation. Halibel's reputation makes Rigel curious about how Halibel knows his parents.

Zarestia

Rigel, only seeing her rarely and not knowing her history, considers her a relative or family friend, despite his parents insistence that she is family. Rigel likes her smell and appearance, but thinks that her personality and language spoil her impression, a bit. Rigel notes that he hates her sadistic side.

Zarestia enjoys opportunities to pick on Rigel, and will laugh at him, freely. Still, she will also talk with, and comfort, Rigel, if she sees him distressed. Zarestia cares about Rigel as family, and while she wouldn't give him Spica to sleep with, Zarestia let him sleep with herself, and by extension, Spica, who Zarestia was cuddling. Although Zarestia constantly declaring her desire to kill annoys Rigel, her thin figure causes Rigel to doubt her ability to harm anyone. Additionally, her reminders to Rigel that she loves him, and offering him to sleep with her caused the young boy to blush.

Chamov

A family friend to the Natsuki family and respected elder of Banan, Kararagi. Chamov has visited the Natsuki household several times, so Rigel talks with Chamov, occasionally. Rigel's desire to marry his less than a year old sister frightens the elderly demi-human.
