Meckart Karsten

Crusch and her father get along very well. However, due to her sword-loving, men’s clothes-wearing demeanor, she has often left him exasperated with her. That said, he is often left in awe of her as well, such as her actions as a leader and her skill in combat, such as when she fought back the Great Rabbit to save him and the soldiers there. Meckart entrusted her with the title of Duchess after this and retired. That said, due to his daughter’s current predicament, he apparently returned to duty to assist her. His current thoughts and feelings about the entire situation are unknown.

Ferris

Crusch and Ferris have been close ever since they've met when they were still children. Ferris stood by her side ever since, supporting her and helping her out to his best efforts, considering that they have never been seen in a conflict. Crusch has said things such as "You are truly the one who knows my heart best" to Ferris, further showing their close and strong relationship. Ferris in turn has been shown multiple times to have like close friendship for Crusch.

Ferris even showed jealousy when Crusch had dinner with Subaru because according to him, they were having dinner in the same way that Crusch did with him.

After Crusch had her memory eaten by Lye Batenkaitos, her relationship with Ferris became more one-sided, with Ferris becoming more protective of Crusch. This reached a point where Crusch put a stop to his attempt in breaking their alliance with the Emilia Camp just to protect her from the Witch Cult, which would inevitably confront Emilia due to her resemblance to the Witch of Envy.

During the events in Priestella, Crusch would find herself cursed by Lust, leading Ferris to become an emotional wreck. When Subaru discovered he could transfer her curse to himself and was asked not do so by the woman herself, she even asked for Ferris to stop him, leaving Ferris severely conflicted. At present, Ferris is still tending to her.

Crusch Camp

Wilhelm van Astrea

Crusch first met Wilhelm after his spat with Bordeaux Zergev in regards to the White Whale. Witnessing this, Crusch offered to assist in hunting the Whate Whale if he gave her his backing. Wilhelm now acts as Crusch’s butler and sword, and the two having gained a better understanding of each other in the months they had been working together. Wilhelm even helped train her in the sword, furthering her mastery.

After Wilhelm returned from the battle against the White Whale and Sloth, Crusch had lost her memories. Wilhelm, like Ferris, would stick by her side and help her get by following this, Wilhelm even continuing his sword training with her. Even without her memories, the two maintain a pleasant and friendly relationship.

Emilia Camp

Natsuki Subaru

Though her original impression of him was lacking as a result of Subaru's initial outburst before the Royal Selection began, she later served as a benefactor to Subaru when she allowed Ferris to treat his gate. However, once Subaru revealed information about and later served as an instrumental part in slaying the White Whale, she gained respect for his abilities and gave a large portion of credit to him. After Lye Batenkaitos ate her memories, the two of them would still hold mutual respect for each other.

During the attack on Priestella, she and Subaru fought side by side in an attempt to recover City Hall, and the two repetitively saved each other throughout the fight, notable examples being when Crusch jumped to knock Subaru out of the way of Lust’s flames, and when Subaru used the last of his fading consciousness to tie her to the foot of the transformed Garek Thompson as he was trying to save them to keep her from falling.

Following the attack, she worried over Subaru’s safety when she learned that he was inflicted with the same curse she had, going as far as to request him to visit her when he returned to City Hall, which had been recovered. During the visit, Subaru discovered that he could transfer her curse to him and was more than willing to do so in spite of the tremendous pain and unfair transference rate. The only reason he stopped was due to her pleading to him not to do so, not knowing what would happen if he continued to take it on. She showed her trust in him further by claiming that the people needed him more than herself. Before she passed out, she requested him to say to her that he said to the rest of the people of Priestella, to “leave everything to me”, to which he did, albeit hesitantly.

Fourier Lugunica

Crusch and Fourier knew each other for a long time, the latter even having fallen in love with her. Of course, due to her nature, Crusch was unable to see this.

At first, the two got off to a rocky start when Fourier was mistaken for an intruder. However, when he corrected the misunderstanding, Crusch offered herself for punishment, which Fourier wished to decline. After this, the two broke into conversation that would ultimately spark Crusch to maintain her thoughts and not toss them to the side, and it would cause her to regain her confidence to be herself, beginning to don men’s clothing from that day forward. Fourier, on the other hand, claimed that he would become her Lion King.

The two would maintain a very close friendship, and they would meet often, either in the garden they met in the royal castle or her own home. The two would even spar with swords often, though Fourier would lose pretty much every time. His endless optimism, eccentricity, and supporting words filled Crusch with hope, and she always enjoyed being with him. Over the course of approximately ten years, however, Crusch would remain oblivious to his love for her.

One day, Fourier would collapse from sickness, leaving him bedridden for months. Crusch’s worries for him would only grow worse as the days passed. On one of the days she would visit him, the two would go to the garden where they first met, and Fourier would tell her of his dream. As he tried to speak his words of love to her, he would die in her lap, leaving her heartbroken. And with his and his family’s deaths being mere footnotes in comparison to the pact with Volcanica, she was left disgusted by how weak the nobles had become. Chosen to be the first of the Royal Candidates, she and Ferris would strive to win, wishing to bring Fourier’s dream to life.

Witch Cult

Alongside Subaru, Crusch would be the first to challenge the Sin Archbishop of Lust in combat. However, having been outsmarted by her, she ends up ambushed and defeated, and she would subsequently fall under the dragon’s blood curse Lust had planted in her. Her actual feelings on the matter are unknown, but because of this, the two are enemies.

Volcanica

While Crusch is grateful to the dragon for the service that he has shown the Kingdom, she believes that the Kingdom’s reliance on the dragon has severely weakened the country and even made it to where nobody truly strove to become a real king. This belief is amplified with Fourier’s passing and the nobles’ reactions to the deaths of the entire Royal Family compared to their pact. As the first of the Royal Selection Candidates, her goal is to sever the pact with the dragon for good so that the Kingdom can strive to be what it’s meant to be: strong and independent of a higher being.
